Starting with just 20 odd beneficiaries, Ek Tara now has 950 children attending classes, given school uniform, and a daily nutritious meal and 75 women in the Vocational Training programme. There is a nominal fee of Rs. 100 per quarter to give parents a feel of responsibility.
