Ashari Visit

Teachers recognize that the vast majority of young children love animals. This natural affinity makes teaching children about animals easy and exciting. Animals provide a means to see beyond ourselves to others, and through practicing the act of kindness and learning to gently handle the animals, students are better equipped to care for their peers. A second visit to Ashari (an animal shelter) was organised for our children. They were thrilled to meet the animals and even fed some of them. Outings like these are organised so that the children learn about empathy and kindness towards animals.
